Quality Standard

Not all colostrum is equal

We set a higher bar — first-milking, whole, minimally processed, and single-ingredient — so you get the full spectrum of what colostrum was designed to deliver.

Why Quality Matters

Colostrum is one of the most nutrient-dense substances in nature—but only when it's handled correctly. Most colostrum on the market is heavily processed, defatted, or sourced from later milkings that contain fewer bioactives.

The difference between a high-quality, full-spectrum colostrum and a commodity-grade powder isn't just marketing—it's measurable in the levels of immunoglobulins, lactoferrin, growth factors, and fat-soluble nutrients you actually receive in every serving.

We believe that if you're going to take colostrum, it should be the real thing. That's why every step of our process—from sourcing to packaging—is designed to preserve the complete bioactive profile nature intended.

What Full-Spectrum Means

Our four full-spectrum criteria define what sets TBR Labs colostrum apart from everything else on the shelf.

🥇

First-Milking Only

Collected within the first 12 hours after birth, when bioactive concentrations—including immunoglobulins, lactoferrin, and growth factors—are at their peak.

🥛

Whole, Non-Skim

We never remove the fat. Fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K), phospholipids, and essential fatty acids are preserved in every serving.

🌡️

Low-Heat Processing

Gentle, low-temperature processing protects fragile bioactive proteins, immunoglobulins, and enzymes that high-heat methods destroy.

One Ingredient

No fillers, sweeteners, flavoring, or additives. Just 100% bovine colostrum, exactly as nature produced it.

Sourcing & Animal Care

Our colostrum comes from pasture-raised, grass-fed cows on small, family-owned dairy farms in the United States. The cows are raised without the routine use of antibiotics or growth hormones.

Calves always feed first. Our supply is collected only after the calf has received its full share. This ethical-first approach means we never compromise the health of the animals for the sake of production volume.

Every batch is traceable back to the farm of origin, giving you full transparency from pasture to powder.

Processing & Testing

After collection, our colostrum is flash-frozen within hours to lock in the full bioactive profile. It is then processed using low-temperature methods that preserve immunoglobulins, growth factors, and other sensitive compounds.

Every batch is third-party tested for purity, potency, and safety. We test for heavy metals, pesticides, microbial contaminants, and verify immunoglobulin concentration levels.

Our facility follows cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards, and Certificates of Analysis are available upon request for every production lot.

How to Read Any Colostrum Label

Not every brand makes it easy to understand what you're actually getting. Here's what to look for—and what to watch out for—when evaluating any colostrum product.

First-milking sourced — Look for explicit mention of first-milking or first 12 hours collection.
Whole / non-defatted — Avoid products labeled "skim" or "defatted." The fat carries essential nutrients.
IgG concentration listed — A reputable brand will publish their immunoglobulin (IgG) levels on the label or COA.
No fillers or additives — The ingredient list should be one item: bovine colostrum.
Third-party tested — Look for references to independent lab testing, COAs, or third-party verification.
Low-heat / gentle processing — High-heat processing denatures the proteins that make colostrum valuable.
